Lucin Utah Variscite Ring - Seafoam
A perfectly cut, gem quality natural variscite stone from the Lucin, Utah mine in a stunning seafoam green. One of my most favorite cabochons ever, a gorgeous, collector quality stone! Set in elegant and simple sterling silver, with an art noveau style band that perfectly sets off the luscious green.
The stone measures 30.7mm. x 16.6mm. x 5.7mm, and is 20.3cts in weight. Size 6.5.
Lucin variscite is becoming very scarce, especially in the quality seen here. This stone should be cared for in the same way as turquoise. It is not a hard stone, so care should be taken when wearing the ring. Variscite has a Mohs hardness of 4.5 to 5, the same as Turquoise and Gaspeite.
