At certain times of the year, the setting sun casts this owl-shaped silhouette—a fleeting bit of desert magic. In this photo, most of the valley has already slipped into evening shadow, while the Peloncillo Mountains still catch the last warm sunlight. For a little while, the owl keeps watch between daylight and dusk.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"_p_1thwv_144\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI forge these pendants, rings, cuffs and earrings from sterling silver, pairing them with hand-cut stones from the wild West.
